GEW Nigeria 2025
The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Nigeria 2025 is set to kick off with an inspiring event — the GEW Walk for Entrepreneurship in Lagos. Organized by the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), this energizing 3-hour walk will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, starting at 2 Ahmed Onibudo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The walk marks the official opening of GEW activities across Nigeria, setting the tone for a week dedicated to innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial empowerment. This year’s edition promises to bring together entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and startup enthusiasts — all united by a common goal: to promote a thriving entrepreneurial culture in Nigeria.
The 9km walk is more than just a fitness exercise; it’s a movement symbolizing resilience, collaboration, and the spirit of enterprise. As participants take each step around the scenic streets of Victoria Island, they will be walking for ideas, opportunities, and the belief that Nigerian entrepreneurs can shape the continent’s future.
Beyond its physical benefits, the walk also emphasizes mental and emotional well-being — reminding participants that entrepreneurship starts with a healthy body and mind. It’s a refreshing way to kick off the week, encouraging balance between ambition and wellness, especially in the fast-paced business world.
