The exhibition will take place at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC), Victoria Island, Lagos, from June 5th to 8th, 2025, with daily activities kicking off at 10:00 AM.

What is Adire?

Derived from the Yoruba language meaning “tie and dye,” Adire is a centuries-old indigo-dyed textile art that represents the ingenuity, heritage, and creative expression of the Nigerian people—especially among the Yoruba communities. Known for its rich patterns and hand-dyed designs, Adire is more than fabric; it is a vibrant symbol of identity, resilience, and African elegance.
