Abuja is set to take centre stage as it hosts Miss Africa Pageant International 2025, on December 6, 2025, at the Center Point Event Centre, an event poised to celebrate beauty, culture, and purpose on a continental scale. According to the pageant’s founder and organiser, Anita Igoni, the upcoming edition promises to go beyond glamour, showcasing Africa’s rich heritage while amplifying inspiring, impact-driven stories that reflect the continent’s strength and diversity.

“Miss Africa International 2025 is not just a pageant; it is a celebration of Africa’s diversity, elegance, intelligence, and strength. Through this platform, we honour African women and showcase to the world that our continent’s beauty is as deep as its heritage,” Igoni said.

She added that the pageant was conceived to recognise not just beauty, but also the intelligence and resilience of young African women.

“Our goal is to help young women find their voice and use it to advocate for education, entrepreneurship, and social change,” she explained.

Over the years, Miss Africa International has drawn contestants and audiences from across the continent.

The event will feature dazzling fashion, vibrant cultural performances, and highlight humanitarian initiatives linked to each contestant’s advocacy.

Despite current economic challenges, Igoni remains optimistic about the pageant’s future, praising her team and sponsors for their support.

“My biggest motivation is seeing how far our queens go after the show. Watching them grow into changemakers across various sectors is what keeps me going,” she added.
